Long drive, free and easily accessible parking.
How bad were the on call hours?
none
What were your weekday hours?
8:30 or so-4:00: Worked inpt. psych ward seeing pts everyday, sometimes clinic.
What were your weekend hours?
none
What should we know about the attendings and residents?
residents don't help you much and some attendings have the personality of a tree, but my attending was pretty helpful
Did you learn any new procedures or skills?
mental status exam
What books were useful for the shelf exam?
NMS has good tests, but it is overwhelming at times with too much info. Don't get hung up reading all the little details.
How was your shelf exam?

Did you have enough time to study for it?
If I didn't procrastinate I would have definately, but it was pretty easy
What pearls of wisdom should an incoming student ABSOLUTELY know?
Bring your lunch or eat out everyday
How would you rate the stress level?

I am not more or less interested, it really wasn't that bad of a rotation
