Be on time, let them know what you know and don't know.
How was the driving and parking?
Park in student garage... not a problem.
How bad were the on call hours?
Call? What is Call?
What were your weekday hours?
8am - 5pm, sometimes as late as 6pm
What were your weekend hours?
Weekend hours? People work during the weekend?
What should we know about the attendings and residents?
Terrific, at least for the C&L service. Don't be afraid of them, they are very laid back.
Did you learn any new procedures or skills?
How to do a mental status exam. How to deal with nutcases in the ER.
What books were useful for the shelf exam?
Psychiatry Blueprints was excellent source, but a bit vague.
How was your shelf exam?
5/10-tough but fair
Did you have enough time to study for it?
Yes
What pearls of wisdom should an incoming student ABSOLUTELY know?
Slinky's are fun.
How would you rate the stress level?

Are you now more or less interested in this specialty as a career?

Can't say much about the experience outside the C&L service, but if you get that, you'll have fun!
