How bad were the on call hours?

only L & D, the switch is the worst- 24hrs shift. Otherwise, not more than 12hrs.

What were your weekday hours?

6:30-3 or 4

What were your weekend hours?

only on L&D, 12 hrs.

What should we know about the attendings and residents?

Dr. Blaskewicz is great. Gives hands on experience during procedure and explainations. Most attendings are nice. Residents are busy. None of mine were mean. I worked with three nice residents- Brigid, Greg and Anne

Did you learn any new procedures or skills?

suturing and knots, SVE, fetal monitoring, delivery, episiotomy and other surgical procedures.

What books were useful for the shelf exam?

Blue prints and syllabus
