don't sweat it, it's just another outpatient clinic rotation

parking is free for med students, just tell the person who takes the money

usually 9-4, rotating between attendings and residents

What should we know about the attendings and residents?

I didn't run across anyone that was unpleasant

Did you learn any new procedures or skills?

mole removal

What books were useful for the shelf exam?

Essentials of Family Medicine is fine, and any Internal medicine or Peds stuff may be helpful too

How was your shelf exam?

5/10-tough but fair

Did you have enough time to study for it?

yes

What pearls of wisdom should an incoming student ABSOLUTELY know?

pick out your project early, otherwise you may have a hard time doing it adequately, and it's really easy points

How would you rate the stress level?

mellow
