Any tips on preparing for Day 1?

bring a pen and some notecards-that's it. Don't even need the white coat. If you've got a ophthalmoscope, bring that too

How was the driving and parking?

no problems. I wouldn't park on the street-fenced lot in back

How bad were the on call hours?

none

What were your weekday hours?

M-F 9:00-3:30 (at the latest) 1-1.5 hr lunch, off one afternoon/wk saw only adult medicine pts, NO peds, NO ob/gyn. Few patients with a variety of complaints

What were your weekend hours?

none

What should we know about the attendings and residents?

Dr. Washington is cool.

Did you learn any new procedures or skills?

suture removal. rectal exams. (I know, these are not exciting)
